Broadway in South Africa Benefit Gala

Featuring world-premiere songs by Grammy Award-winners Desmond Child and Julie Gold, Drew Gasparini, Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich, Joe Iconis, Peter Lerman, Brian Lowdermilk and Kait Kerrigan, Catherine Porter, Jeremy Schonfeld, Jeff Thomson and Jordan Mann, and Katie Thompson.

With performances by Tony^® Award-winner Alice Ripley (Next to Normal), Ariana Grande (Nickelodeon’s Victorious), Sean Bradford (The Scottsboro Boys), Darius deHaas (Children of Eden), Brandon Victor Dixon (The Color Purple), Frankie James Grande (Mamma Mia), Emma Hunton (Spring Awakening), Rebecca Naomi Jones (American Idiot), Adam Kantor (Rent), Morgan Karr (Spring Awakening), Jose Llana (Flower Drum Song), Tracy McDowell (Rent), and Christopher Spaulding (Curtains).

Broadway in South Africa aims to develop a cross cultural exchange between youth in need and artists who seek to use their talents for change. BSA uses the arts to empower youth whose lives have been dramatically affected by poverty, violence, abuse, hunger, and HIV/AIDS.
